Fae_JewelArial's Realm

Arial_sig I will be going through my website page by page and making some drastic changes to the site. This is an over due task that requires a lot of updates to pages and cutting out dead links. I will most likely be adding to some new pages to reflect my new found interests.

I will continue to display my tatting articles and most all of the links for the other things that I have created over the years. The newest links will be for my new found interest in 3D Graphics. I am hoping that I can eventually add an onsite store to sell some of my graphics for personal use in things like web design or scrapbooking. I will also be adding some links to the pictures that I have rendered and posted both on Renderosity; and DevinatArt

I want to thank everyone who has dropped by and visited my site over the years. I hope to keep providing you with more resources and interesting items in the future.

The original page was lovingly crafted using Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict, errorless CSS and orginal graphics drawn by Gordon Mackay in Adobe Fireworks CS3 instead of 2nd rate, free stock images.

As much as I liked the graphics that came with this template, all graphics have been replaced with my own personal graphics. Since this is my personal website and I do graphic arts, then it should follow that all the graphics shown are mine.

Oct 14 Updates Long Overdue Posted by Arialgr.

WOW, It has been far too long since I have updated my site. I had really hoped to get some major renovations done so that I could provide a better viewing experience for those who manage to come my way. I have begun to publish some of my recent artworks at my Deviant Art Gallery for purchase as wall posters. I really would appreciate it if you would take the time to look through my gallery and purchase a poster or two. If you have something you would like to see me do then please let me know and I can see what can do. I hope to have a link soon to a little shop which will offer some of my 3d textures for sale.

I have also added some new galleries which will show some of my work. I currently have two galleries available. One is for my faeries and can be found in Arial's 3d Faeries Album and the other one is general 3d portraits and can be found in Arial's 3d Portraits Album. I do not yet have all of the pages updated with the gallery links so you will have to be patient or just come back to the main page for a bit yet.

When I get some more time I believe I will add more galleries and even some of my fractal artwork. I will also plan to update the website graphics to something more sleek as I have gained a lot of experience since I first started out.

April 11 Updates Again Posted by Arialgr.

I have been continuing to update my website as I get the time to make the modifications. I have been working like a "mad woman" trying to get some graphics stuff developed to post on this site. I would like to point to the links on the right side of the page. You will notice that I now have a link to my ShareCG account for my current free downloads. I created several "texture" packs for some clothing items and wings. These items are used in 3d art like Poser and Daz Studio. Those links are also listed on the right side of this page.

I am hoping in the next few weeks to upload some "png" which can be used in any graphics program to add to backgrounds and other items to create something quite unique. These were formerly known as "tubes" because often they were in a "tub" format which was useable only by PSP - Paintshop Pro - users. I would like to open this up to anyone who is looking for graphics that they can add no matter which program they use. I am using Photoshop CS2 and Poser 7 to create these items for your use. All that I ask is that you do give me credit and maybe drop me an example of how you used my art. I am trying to make these graphics useful for scrapbooking. If there is anything that you would like to see, please use my email on this page and drop me a note. I will be more than happy to see what I can do.

In order to provide an incentive for me to provide better quality, I have added a "donation" button to this page below. Please donate what you feel you can to help me purchase better content to provide you with a wider range of product. All I ask is that the minimum donation be $1. This is not a manditory thing but it would help me to get better content as I am currently unemployed and my income is very limited for personal spending.

Right now I do not have the graphics pages up as I am still working on them. Just as soon as I do, you will see updates both here and in the links along the top and the right side of the page.

Feb 5 New Day, New Updates Posted by Arialgr.

Today has been spent modifying the next level of pages to match the new format. I will be going through layer by layer to update this site. I found that some of my pages have not been modified since I first built them many years ago. So it comes down to the fact that I really do need to build these pages once again.

There will be many new graphics designed throughout this web site that will begin to reflect my new style and the changes in my graphics from many years ago. I will be creating my own graphics to use that will better reflect who I am these days along with the style that I have come to love. Redoing these pages will just be the first step as I try to expand my knowledge base even further than before.

Pages receiving modifications are: Site Links, About Me , Tatting Albums & Links , Graphics Resources, Scrapbook Links, Miscellaneous Links

Feb 4 New Day, New Layout Posted by Arialgr.

I have decided that I have neglected this site for far too long and it is time for a complete overhaul of the website. Most of my sub-pages will still be present for a while but they will each be modified to fit the new format. There will also be some new graphics that will appear throughout the website that are completely new in design. If I miss linking any page back into the main pages then please bare with me while I get everything up and running once again. Hopfully I will be able to use this center blog to keep you all updated with the changes that are being made to the website as they happen.

I have completed the first page of my update. This is the new index page for my website. I am planning on having all of my pages use this overall color scheme for now. I am slowly learning to use Dreamweaver and the Style Sheets that help me to control all of my page content. I am hoping to get all of my graphics updated and placed up on my website before the week is out. Please be patient with me as I work on replacing all of my pages with the overall color scheme and some of my 3d artwork.

About me

author I am a computer programmer by training and spent many years programming in COBOL and JCL. In more recent years, I have spent much time learning how to build and design websites for all kinds of applications. As I have grown this website has also undergone many changes as well. Since being laid off from my last job, I have begun working on developing my graphic skills. For many years I played around with 2d graphics and photography using Photoshop in that work. I am now venturing into the realm of 3d and using both Poser and DAZ Studio in that venture. I am hoping that I can develop some 3d graphics suitable for use in digital scrapbooking as well as creating printable works of art for display on a room wall.
