Fae_JewelArial's About Me Page

Arial_sig Welcome to my home on the internet. I have done quite a few updates to this website. I hope you enjoy the look and the experience. Please drop me a line by email and tell me what you think of the new changes to my site. Thanks for coming back.

I will continue to display my tatting articles and most all of the links for the other things that I have created over the years. The newest links will be for my new found interest in 3D Graphics. I am hoping that I can eventually add an onsite store to sell some of my graphics for personal use in things like web design or scrapbooking. I will also be adding some links to the pictures that I have rendered and posted both on Renderosity; and DevinatArt

I want to thank everyone who has dropped by and visited my site over the years. I hope to keep providing you with more resources and interesting items in the future.

The original page was lovingly crafted using Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict, errorless CSS and orginal graphics drawn by Gordon Mackay in Adobe Fireworks CS3 instead of 2nd rate, free stock images.

As much as I liked the graphics that came with this template, all graphics have been replaced with my own personal graphics. Since this is my personal website and I do graphic arts, then it should follow that everything shown is mine.

For the past couple of years I spent much of my spare time playing with a program called Apophysis. This is a program developed to create images using mathematics and functions. The combination of these equations produce some of the most fantastic art that I have seen. There are websites and groups dedicated to this art form. Some examples of this art can be found by visiting my art pages at Deviant Art. I will try to include some pages here with examples and links to more information about this fun art form.

I have also recently been exploring the area of 3D art using the program Poser 7 and DAZ Studio. You will find several examples of individual items throughout my website and more complex pictures in my album at Devinant Art or at Renderosity. While you are at these sites, look at some of the other artists who also create much more beautiful artwork than I can do right now.

I still really enjoy working on tatting projects from time to time and have posted them to their own albums within my site. I will post updates from time to time as I finish more projects. I have been working with the smaller threads as I have gained confidence in my ability. I have also included links to some other fantastic places to look at tatting.

For those of you returning, you will notice quite a few changes to my pages. I thank you for coming to visit. I will also be making changes to this page as well. You might want to follow my Journal on my front page were I will make most of my comments about the changes that I have made to my pages.

You will notice that most all of my pages will be layed out in the same 3 column pattern since I am using the same template for each page. I will always try to keep the right column with the same contents so that the user will have the same links to move back to the home page or other pages that they may be interested in. The links will be the main page for each subdivision within my website. I hope some day to have a store where people may purchase some of my more elaborate graphics or packages that I may put together for Poser and DAZ Studio.

About me

author I am a computer programmer by training and spent many years programming in COBOL and JCL. In more recent years, I have spent much time learning how to build and design websites for all kinds of applications. As I have grown this website has also undergone many changes as well. Since being laid off from my last job, I have begun working on developing my graphic skills. For many years I played around with 2d graphics and photography using Photoshop in that work. I am now venturing into the realm of 3d and using both Poser and DAZ Studio in that venture. I am hoping that I can develop some 3d graphics suitable for use in digital scrapbooking as well as creating printable works of art for display on a room wall.
